BIOGRAPHY
Farina Khattak is Professor of Applied Poultry Nutrition in the Monogastric Science Research Centre at SRUC, UK. She holds a PhD in Poultry Nutrition from the University of Aberdeen and has over 25 years of experience in applied and commercial poultry research. Her research focuses on evaluating novel feed ingredients and nutritional interventions to improve bird performance, welfare, and gut health, including the use of infection challenge models to study host-pathogen and microbiota interactions.
